Motorists can now combine entertainment with driving as TomTom launch a limited edition Top Gear version of their ‘GO LIVE’ satellite navigation device.
The device is designed to integrate features of the popular television show into a Sat Nav in order to provide motorists with a better driving experience. The new features will accompany TomTom’s existing Sat Nav technology to become “the ultimate driving companion” – according to Managing Directior, Corinne Vigreux.
TomTom with added Jeremy Clarkson

The added features of this limited edition version of one of TomTom’s popular devices will see drivers provided with a number of great options. A “Stig Mode” will enable them to render the device mute whilst other options include receiving directions from the voice of Jeremy Clarkson.
Additional Top Gear Sat Nav Features
Alongside this, Top Gear places of interest will also feature on the Sat Nav map, allowing drivers to locate and visit locations which are connected with the television series, such as race tracks.
TomTom HD Traffic Technology
Forming the backbone of the device, the TomTom technology continues to provide motorists with high quality products and services. HD traffic technology is one of the device’s features, designed to help drivers avoid areas of congested traffic. This information is accurate and delivered to the device every two minutes in order to remain reliable and up to date.
Other services include alerting drivers to the position of speed cameras, a local search to find shops/services within specific areas and TomTom Weather to provide five day forecasts for various locations.
Choosing the perfect TomTom Sat Nav
Of course, if you prefer your drive with a little less Clarkson, there are plenty of other TomTom Sat Navs available. Start by checking our Sat Nav buyer’s guide.
