A new internet video service has been launched by Sony and Billabong, bringing 24-hour on-demand entertainment to user’s screens. The Bravia Internet Video is available on Bravia TVs, Sony Blu-ray players and Sony Blu-ray Home Theatre Systems.

Users can browse sites such as YouTube, BBC programmes on BBC iPlayer, and sit back and relax with a movie via LOVEFILM, while also having access to Sky News breaking stories from the TV, without the need to connect a laptop of other internet gadget.

Twitter is Five

Social network Twitter has celebrated it’s fifth birthday. It was at 8.50pm on 21st March 2006 that Twitter founder Jack Dorsey sent the first ever tweet and what did it say – ‘just setting up my twttr’ Today more than 1 billion tweets are made every week and there are over 200 million Twitter users worldwide. Good news for electrical goods manufacturer Electrolux – they have been chosen as one of the world’s most ethical companies. Electrolux took the top spot in the Consumer Electronics category of the World’s Most Ethical Companies list as compiled by the Ethisphere Institute.
