With cutting edge Sony technology the Xperia arc uses the latest version of the Android platform – 2.3.

It sports a super slim and light design, measuring in at just 8.7mm at its thinnest part while its widest parts is it’s 4.2 inch wide multi-touch screen.

“We’re starting strong in 2011 by introducing our most exciting Xperia product yet,” said Bert Nordberg, Sony Ericsson’s president.

“Xperia arc combines state-of-the-art Sony technology with breathtaking design to entertain and wow consumers.”

It is designed to fit perfectly into the user’s hand and aims to be strong to withstand daily usage. The stunning visuals are due to the Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine producing crystal clear images.

The camera function uses Exmor R for mobile sensor with an f/2.4 lens enabling high quality captures, bright pictures and HD videos whatever the light.

These pictures can be shared on home entertainment systems to view on your living room TV via the built in HDMI-connector for all to enjoy.

The Android platform provides the user with access to Google Mobile Services and the many fun and useful applications on the Android market.

The phone comes in a Midnight Blue colour or Misty Silver depending on your preferences.
