Samsung Galaxy S3 racks up 9 million pre-orders

According to an ‘anonymous’ Samsung official, the company have racked up an impressive 9 million pre-orders for their flagship Galaxy S3 smartphone so far around the world.

And the number doesn’t come as a surprise to many as the tech Giant look set for taking full control of the smartphone market with the power seemingly shifting from iOS to Android with Samsung at the helm.

The S3 goes on sale in Germany on May 29th before rolling out across the rest of Europe and sales are expected to be very high. Not surprising seeing as Samsung have already pipped Apple to the top spot for sales in the first quarter.

The same anonymous source at Samsung also commented saying that their South Korean factory was running at it’s full capacity which churns out around 5 million units per month.
