The Galaxy S3 has been going down a storm since its release earlier this year, but Samsung isn’t resting on its laurels.
The South Korean manufacturer is set to pack its flagship device with even more features, including HD Voice, wireless charging and even Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
With Apple expected to release the iPhone 5 in the next couple of months, it seems that Samsung is doing all it can to boost sales before the head-to-head with its fierce rival.
HD Voice for Samsung Galaxy S3
Built by Korean telecommunications firm SK Telecom, HD Voice is said to be the world’s first high-def voice service to run on 4G networks.
The service was launched in South Korea today, and will improve the quality of calls in addition to reducing connection time
The S3 is already 4G-ready, and is hugely popular in its native South Korea, so it makes sense that it would be the first device to receive the exciting new service.
Wireless charging for Samsung Galaxy S3
Wireless charging specialist Zens has announced that it will launching a cordless charging device for the S3 next month.
The S3 has always had the capacity to charge wirelessly, but this great little feature was lost among all the other nifty tricks the S3 boasted upon its release.
Samsung is expected to be working on its own wireless charging offering for the S3, but if you can’t wait that long then Zens device will be out in September.
Jelly Bean on Samsung Galaxy S3
One of the most exciting revelations of late has got o be the rumour that the S3, along with several other Samsung devices, will be getting the Jelly Bean update this year.
According to reports, software testing on the device has already been carried out and Samsung is just waiting for approval from Google.
