Professional Coffee in Your Own Home

Rating: ★★★★☆

The Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Maker by Krupps is extremely easy to set up and get started.

Simply fill the water reservoir at the back of the unit with fresh water and switch on. The Thermoblock technology heats the water on demand so you don’t waste energy boiling water unnecessarily.

Whilst you wait 30 seconds or so for it to heat up, choose your favourite flavour from the 18 different blends available, such as Americano, machiatto, latte or chococcino.

You don’t need to worry about coffee granules or beans, your perfect blend is already deliciously prepared in a sealed pod that you simply pop in the tray, pull the lever down to release the contents and move the lever at the top of the unit which sets your drink to hot or cold….and that’s it.

All you need to do is decide on the strength of coffee you want by stopping the flow of water. This doesn’t stop automatically, so it leaves you in full control to choose which size of mug you want and the strength of drink you desire. Keep a close eye though, as it doesnt switch off by itself when the cup is full.

Once your coffee is made, simply discard the pod and enjoy your deliciously fresh drink.

The Dolce Gusto is available in black, ivory or red to suit any kitchen and coffee pods can be purchased from and most supermarkets.
