The event will be held on 25th October 2011 at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo in London.

Playing scores from the iconic series, Zelda fans will be able to sit back and enjoy aspects of the game like never before. Tracks will be hand picked by Nintendo composer Koji Kondo and his team.

“The Legend of Zelda series is famous for its beautiful music and we are thrilled to celebrate 25 years of memorable soundtracks from this iconic series by letting a symphony orchestra bring this music to life,” said Laurent Fischer, Managing Director of Marketing & PR for Nintendo of Europe.

“The symphony orchestra concert in London will allow fans from across Europe to come together and show their love for all things Zelda while enjoying a truly unique performance and experience,” continued Fischer.

The 70 strong orchestra will be joined by a choir to perform new versions of the songs from the series’ 25 year history.

In celebration of the series, Nintendo have released ‘The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’ 3D game for the Nintendo 3DS.

The Zelda symphony tour begins in Los Angeles before heading overseas to the UK.

Tickets start from £3.75 and are available now from ticket master.

The launch of the ‘Make Your Own Zelda Filnote’ competition is exclusively available for Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL users who can download the free Flipnote studio software to begin creating their masterpiece.

The winners of the most original and creative Flipnotes will have their animation posted on the Nintendo homepage for the world to see.
