Nintendo recently held the official launch event for the highly awaited 3DS and gave us an official UK release date of March 25th 2011, now retailers are reacting to anticipated interest by offering the much-hyped gadget for pre-order.
With all the buzz surrounding the 3DS, it would be reasonable to expect a sizeable queue of fans eager to get their hands on one, and if the 3DS proves even nearly as successful as the original DS or Wii, it might be a while before stores have enough stock to cope with demand. In reaction to this, retailers are rolling out a pre-order scheme so people can stake their claim well in advance.
