Capcom‘s Resident Evil franchise has always been one of the most well known and popular of the horror gaming genre and now we have a new trailer packed full of scares to get us ready for the release of the sixth installment.
The new trailer was debuted at Comic-con and packs a bigger punch than the last one.
This time round, as well as the all-action feel of the first trailer, we also get to see the darker, scarier side of Resident Evil 6.
Giant snakes, brains and action
Set 15 years after the Raccoon City ‘Incident’ and as you’d expect, the trailer features your standard amount stumbling in the dark, torch light and of course Zombies, but you also get an added heap of giant snake snacking on unsuspecting soldiers. Nice!
As well as standard single player, Resident Evil 6 will also feature 6 player co-op mode and 8 player competitive multiplay mode.
Capcom say that this new installment will be much more action-orientated than 4 and 5 with players able to dodge, roll and even slide accross the floor whilst shooting.
Resident Evil 6 will be available for consoles and PC on October 20th 2012. Make sure you have a spare pair of pants handy!
