But if you really are that bothered, there’s some good news as Microsoft have just updated the free My Xbox Live app so you can now control your Xbox 360 via iPad!

The app was launched last month for both iPhone and Android handsets allowing users to launch games, browse the Xbox Live dashboard and play videos and music. The update for iPad is the same, only with a larger screen. Perfect for those with fat fingers.

All you need to do is sync your iPad with your console and away you go! Take a look at the video below to see the app in action.

How do i get the app?

  • For Apple users (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch), you can download the app via the App Store by searching for My Xbox LIVE and iTunes by searching for My Xbox LIVE app. Note that you must be running iOS 4.3 or above.
  • For Android users, you’ll need to visit the Google Play store and search for My Xbox LIVE.

For more information, visit the My Xbox Live installation page. Alternatively, you could just use your controller like everyone else.
