Manual Exposure isn’t rocket science – once I’ve given you a few pointers I promise you it’s easy. And very handy too because it doesn’t matter how much money you spend on a camera it’s you who’s in charge and taking the picture.
Once you understand manual exposure a whole new world opens up for you. In high contrast situations you’ll be able to choose which area of the picture you want to expose for.
You’ll have complete control over movement – Shall we have some ‘arty’ blur like in the classic waterfall shot? Or maybe freeze it as with a single drop of water!
By dancing between Shutter, aperture and ISO manually you can be sure your exposure is perfect every time.
