LG have announced that they will be releasing their first quad-core smartphone in the UK next month!
The LG Optimus 4X HD will come packed with a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor running the Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS, an eye widening 4.7 inch 1280×720 display, an 8MP camera (with full HD video recording) and a whole load of extra goodies.
The 4X HD was first unveiled by LG back in February for MWC 2012 held in Barcelona. This is where LG claimed the phone was twice as fast as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
When can we get it!?
In a Korean press release by LG, the company have said that the 4X HD will have a June release in Germany, Sweden, Great Britain, Italy and Poland.
There was however, no talk of pricing but it’s likely that the networks will be releasing this information very soon. We’ll let you know as soon as we know!
