It also boasts an easy to use interface for personalised image folders and, as you would expect from a 21st century digitally connected phone – easy access to social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter.

It can also boast a 4.3-inch HD Super LCD touch screen, and an 8-megapixel camera that also has 1080p HD video recording and playback. Other great features include Bluetooth printing and stereo sound recording.

The HTC Desire and HTC Desire HD are the two most popular mobile phones in the UK and Florian Seiche, HTC president of Europe, Middle East and Africa, told Reuters news agency that he expected the manufacturer’s business to increase in 2011.

“We expect the momentum to continue due to the timing of our launches,” he said.

“Last year video made up 40 percent of mobile data traffic, and this phone will combine video with our already proven multi-media services.”
