EA has revealed that the FIFA 13 demo has taken the world by storm, reaching 2 million downloads just days after its launch.
The latest demo version in the FIFA series has eclipsed the success of its predecessor by 29%, with a staggering 1.99 million PS3 and Xbox 360 users in 73 countries downloading the FIFA 13 demo just three days after it was made available.
FIFA 13 will make its debut on September 28in Europe, and has already garnered praise in the industry with E3 Game Critics choosing FIFA 13 as Best Sports Game for 2012 and GamesMaster Magazine giving it an impressive 91/100 rating.
FIFA 13 iOS app
An iOS FIFA 13 app is set to be available for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad in time for the launch of the full game.
Football screenshots of FIFA 13 for iOS, as well as some rumours and gossip, have revealed that gamers can choose from 15,000 players, 500 teams and 30 leagues.
Other key features that are set to be included in the iOS app include the ability for gamers to connect with other fans through the EA Sports Football Club and a universal build including the Gamepad.

Players can also use Quick Match for friendlies, shootouts and practice while those who want a more competitive edge to their game can take part in League and Cup tournaments.
An online multiplayer mode is also set to be available, which will allow players to pit their skills against others.
Manager Mode also gives players the chance to take the reins while a facility allowing them to upload highlights to YouTube gives them the chance to share their footy skills with the world at large.
FIFA 13: Set for success?
FIFA 13 has received rave reviews and just two weeks from launch, the game has already clocked up over 875,000 pre-orders – up 37% year on year in Europe and 62% in North America.
With so much hype surrounding the game, it will no doubt top the charts when the full version kicks off at the end of September. Watch out PES 2013!
