Nokia 5230
Rating:

I wanted an up to date phone to keep up with the kids but didn’t really want to go for the top end phones that everyone else has.
I like the touch screen and the fact that you get a handy little plectrum thing in case the touch area is too small for fingers. The wrist strap comes in very handy too, especially as it can be attached to your bag as an added bit of security when not in use.
The screen is clear and easy to read. The size is big enough to read easily but also compact enough to go in your pocket or bag easily.
I was able to work out how to open and use facebook, messenger, skype and e-mail without the use of the manual and if I can do that then anyone can.
I enjoy using my Nokia 5230 and having Skype especially, means that I can keep in touch with my daughter, who is in Spain studying, at any time or place.
Pros
- clear screen
- wrist strap
- handy plectrum
Cons
- lack of wallpapers and ringtones
- small area for touch keys
- Lack of wallpapers & ringtones
Verdict
Overall a very good phone for those who want to be up to date but dont need quite as much as the top end phones. If I can work out how to open and operate facebook, e-mail, skype and messenger, then anyone can.
