Adele’s Smartphone App
Popstar Adele is reportedly using a Smartphone App to speak after undergoing surgery on her throat earlier this month.
The star, who is recovering in Boston, where she underwent the surgery, has been ordered to rest her vocal chords as much as possible so, according to The Sun, is using a Smartphone App to ‘buy coffee at Starbucks and order cabs.’
Apple vs Samsung
The battle of the tech giants rumbles on this week – a court in Australia has overturned a ban on the sale of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1. Apple secured a sales ban back in October, accusing Samsung of ‘blatantly copying’ the iPad’s touch screen technology. Apple vs Samsung.
Mark Twain’s Google Doodle
Search giant Google is celebrating what would be the 176th birthday of the US writer Mark Twain with his very own Google Doodle.
Visitors to the Google home screen today are greeted with a old-style mural based on Twain’s iconic work The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
Acer Liquid Express
Computer giant Acer has released the latest in their Liquid range of smartphones – the Acer Liquid Express. Available on T-Mobile and Orange, it is priced at around £200, or free on an 18-24 month contract.
