About Francesca Moutafis from Dyson

At Dyson, we invent. We reinvented the vacuum cleaner, created the world’s first bladeless fan and the fastest, most hygienic hand dryer. We start with a problem. Something that frustrates or nags because it doesn’t work properly. It could be an everyday object. Then we figure out how to make it work better.

Dyson’s latest technology to be announced later this week

Find out why our Dyson engineers are going dotty over Dyson’s new technology in this exclusive video!

Dyson Hot™ AM04 fan heater

At Dyson we’ve just launched our latest new technology, the Dyson Hot™ fan heater. It looks very different to a conventional fan heater. And it works very differently too.

Which Dyson vacuum cleaner?

The question of which vacuum cleaner to purchase is essentially one of personal choice. It will depend on the type of flooring you have in your home, whether you or a member of your household suffers with allergies, or if you have any pets.

Dyson DC24 Animal ultra-lightweight and compact Dyson Ball™ vacuum for pet owners

At Dyson we start with a problem. Something that frustrates or nags because it doesn’t work properly. It could be an everyday object. Then we figure out how to make it work better.

Say goodbye to the blade

The Dyson Air Multiplier™ fans draw in up to 33 litres of air per second at their base. This air is then accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a jet of air which passes over an airfoil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction. Surrounding air is drawn into the airflow, amplifying it by up to 18 times. The result: a steady stream of smooth air.

Why Dyson?

First we took the bags out of vacuum cleaners. Then we took the blades out of fans. At Dyson we’re inventors. We start with a problem. Something that frustrates or nags because it doesn’t work properly. It could be an everyday object. Then we figure out how to make it work better.
