Apple look set to reveal the next version of it’s mobile operating system (iOS 6) on June 11th according to sources.
Word on the street is that the Moscone Center in San Francisco has been booked out for a week from the 11th of June.
The Moscone Center has been a long-standing venue of choice for Apple who usually hold their Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) at the beginning of June.
In true Apple style, secrecy and intrigue is evident with the Moscone Center website having the event listed as a “corporate meeting” and nothing more.
All speculation currently though points to Apple CEO Tim Cook taking the stage for the annual event.
What about the iPhone 5?
At last year’s conference, Apple announce iOS 5 but held off delivering the iPhone 4S until October.
Weather the iPhone 5 is to be unveiled in June at the WWDC is unsure but we’d expect Apple to stick to the same plan as last year and go with an iPhone 5 announcement later in the year.
